Vancouver-based saxophonist and composer Evan Cribb leads Coercion, a band featuring some of the city’s most dynamic musicians. Cribb’s original music incorporates rhythmic complexity into accessible long-form frameworks for exploration, with ambient passages, pulsing grooves, expansive melodies, and explosive improvisation taking the listener on a journey with the band through a series of diverse soundscapes.
